Therapeutic Hub Head of Service - Greenwich (TLG)

Transforming Lives for Good (TLG) is a Christian emotional and mental wellbeing charity partnering with local churches to bring fullness of life for every child.

We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate clinician to lead one of our pioneering church Therapeutic Hubs in Greenwich (London), created in partnership with a local church to meet the growing mental and emotional health needs of children, young people and families.

As Head of Service, you’ll provide clinical leadership for the Hub, delivering high quality therapeutic support for complex cases while overseeing referrals, pathways and a multidisciplinary team of counsellors, trainees and coaches. Shaped by trauma informed, relational practice and PACE values, this role combines hands on impact with the opportunity to shape an innovative, safe and transformative model of care rooted in the local church.

Lifecentre is a charity providing specialist therapeutic services to survivors of rape and sexual abuse.

Working from three in-person locations across West Sussex, as well as online and by telephone or email.

These roles are offered on a self-employed basis.

Session fee: £32.48 per 1.5-hour session (60 minutes therapy + 30 minutes admin).

Lifecentre are looking for an experienced therapist, ideally accredited (or working towards accreditation) with BACP, UKCP, BAPT or ACC. Management and safeguarding experience is desirable.

You will be competent in trauma work with people who have experienced rape or sexual abuse and able to demonstrate a solid foundation in delivering three-phase trauma therapy.

Lifecentre will provide:

  • Monthly external clinical supervision
  • Monthly CPD via Lifecentre team meetings
  • Pre-trial therapy training (for successful candidates)
  • Support from our Senior Therapists
  • IT support
  • Development opportunities within Lifecentre’s therapeutic service

Counselling Manager – Talkthru

Location: Huddersfield (Regular on-site presence, with some hybrid flexibility)
Hours: 6 hours per week, 45 weeks per year

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Counselling Manager to support the development and delivery of our counselling service.

Working closely with the Centre Manager, you will help ensure clients receive safe, high-quality support, while also providing guidance and mentoring to volunteer, trainee and sessional counsellors.

The role will require regular on-site presence, providing a consistent presence within the team, with some flexibility for hybrid working. A small clinical caseload may be included, time permitting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting client assessments and allocation
  • Supporting the delivery of a safe, high-quality counselling service
  • Mentoring and supporting volunteer, trainee and sessional counsellors
  • Supporting safeguarding and ethical practice across the service
  • Maintaining accurate records in line with GDPR
  • Contributing to monitoring and reporting of service activity
  • Supporting service development and relationships with referrers
  • Encouraging client contributions, including Gift Aid where appropriate

About You

You will be a qualified and experienced counsellor with:

  • A minimum Level 4 Diploma (or equivalent) in Counselling or Psychotherapy
  • Significant post-qualification experience, including trauma-informed or pregnancy-related counselling
  • Experience supporting or mentoring counsellors or trainees
  • Strong assessment and risk management skills
  • Good organisational, communication and IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • A commitment to ethical practice and high-quality client care
  • Commitment to working in a way that reflects and respects Talkthru’s ethos of compassion, care and respect, underpinned by Christian values

Welcome Counselling - Services Manager

Welcome Counselling in Witney, West Oxfordshire, is looking for a part-time (0.2FTE / 7.5 hours per week) Services Manager, to lead their team of counsellors and grow the charity as it seeks to serve the local community by offering low-cost counselling.

The role involves:

  • oversight of the counselling agency (managing enquiries into the service, taking referrals and risk assessments, allocating clients within the team, co-ordinating monthly peer supervision and twice-yearly team CPD, ensuring policies and reviewed and updated, correct storage of notes, and managing their own client case load of up to 2 clients per week).
  • management of the charity (including finances and budget, charity obligations in partnership with the trustees, and seeking to develop and grow the team and charity as a whole).

Applicants should be qualified and registered counsellors, with Christian faith, and a passion to see the charity grow and thrive.
