Pre-requisite Information: Certificate in 'An Introduction to Counselling' or equivalent counselling skills training. Additionally any prior relevant training or experience working in pastoral care or counselling/therapy.

This Diploma programme offers training in an integrative approach to counselling, embracing the concepts of Person-Centred Counselling, Psychodynamic Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Existential Psychotherapy from a Christian perspective.

Students are encouraged to grow together in a learning community that is supportive and mutually inspiring. The course material is taught through face to face teaching, personal reflection, small and large group discussion and skills practice. We also have an Online Learning Platform to support learning in between the face to face sessions. Students are encouraged to read, study, practise and process the material that is presented. The course is held face to face on one Friday and Saturday per month over 2 years. It includes 400 hours training and 100 clinical hours.
