My Internal Supervisor

My Internal Supervisor

This training is for therapists or anyone working pastorally or therapeutically with clients (adults or young people). It will provide an opportunity for you to explore and reflect on your own internal supervisor and how this can enhance your therapeutic/pastoral practice.

Using creative approaches, you will connect to and deepen your relationship with your internal supervisor, learning key skills to make time and space for this type of reflection.

We will be exploring this through a faith lens, however, the principles could be applied for those from faith or non-faith backgrounds.

Learning outcomes

  • To give participants space to explore their reflective processes and develop new ones.
  • Exploration of the concept of internal supervisor from a faith based perspective. Bringing into the focus people spirituality and their connection to this through their role as therapist, counsellor or pastoral support.
