Training to be a counsellor takes time (on average three to four years) and comprises the following core components:
Christian pastoral care is ultimately concerned with developing quality relationships, enabling one another to recognise, follow and become more like Jesus. It is a commitment to love one another because we ourselves are first loved by God, and embraces a wide range of activity in support of one another, in and beyond the church.
The following ACC counselling organisational members offer student placements and are listed in alphabetical order according to location. This list is updated regularly, however, the counselling services may not always have placement vacancies and we rely on the organisations to keep us informed of any changes.
