Children and Young People Development Group

The Children & Young People (CYP) Development Group is composed of experienced practitioners dedicated to supporting ACC with specialist knowledge on issues affecting children and young people. Working closely with the ACC board, our role includes providing a virtual meeting space for ACC members who are, or wish to become, CYP practitioners; facilitating forums for like-minded professionals to explore relevant topics; and offering support to those currently working with adults who wish to develop their skills to work with CYP. We also strive to establish a minimum standard for those seeking to work with CYP, signpost potential training providers, and explore the unique role that faith plays in our work.
