She was born and raised in Ireland, where she attended a convent school run by the Dominican order. She undertakes voluntary work at her local church and has also been involved in delivering the Children’s Liturgy programme there. In her professional life, Catherine practices as a solicitor in the City of London, where she has worked for the past 20+ years. Catherine brings her experience in identifying broader picture issues, strategic decision-making and risk analysis (qualities gained both from her work as a solicitor and, prior to that, as a chartered civil engineer) to her role as Chair of the Register Advisory Panel.
