Ethnic Tapestry

Ethnic Tapestry

Ethnic Tapestry is a supportive community of practice for members from the Global Majority, providing a dedicated space to discuss the issues of race and ethnicity within counselling, psychotherapy, and pastoral care. The group explores issues of racism, identity, prejudice, and oppression, fostering open conversations that encourage reflection and growth within the profession. As a critical friend to ACC, Ethnic Tapestry helps the organisation and its members examine their practices in light of these realities. With representation to the ACC Board, bi-monthly community of practice meetings and hosting of dedicated members forums, Ethnic Tapestry aims to share experiences, raise awareness, and promote meaningful change.
